Hello and welcome to the PCS West of Scotland blogsite.
On this site you will find information about your Branch Executive Committee (BEC) and the role it plays within the national union. We also want to take some time to explain who the members of the BEC are and what they do. All of the branch members are your colleagues and take time out of their day to day activities to represent you as members.
However, it is also important that you play a role and influence the decisions your union makes and the direction it takes. I hope that the development of this site will help members to take the opportunity to become more involved and to feel that they are the union.
Our intention is to use this site to update you on campaign matters both on a local and national level. Currently our two biggest campaigns are around the attack on the Civil Service Compensation Scheme and on Pay.Please let us know if there are other things you’d like to see on the site and we will do our best to meet your requests.
